Bad Blogger!

I have been a bad blogger! It seems like life has been in fast forward for the last two months! I have been busy making cards and cookies for two craft fairs--which are finally over! My friend Denise from Paper Ponderings and I did the craft fairs together. Above is a picture of her and part of our table!
I need to publish pictures of my "new creations" but will have to leave that for later! I am going to kick back some more since I have a hectic week ahead of me!

Compassion

Check out the Pioneer Woman's blog here . Her family is off to the Dominican Republic on a trip for Compassion International. I have sponsored a boy for several years and it is very rewarding! With the Christmas money I sent one year, he was able to buy a cow! Such a small effort can make a huge difference in their lives. If you are interested, check them out here. You won't be the same!

Oh Baby!

I needed a baby card for a shower tomorrow so I had the opportunity to use my new Cuttlebug cut & emboss set for the card. How easy it was to make a card with the cut and emboss and the baby die! I love the sentiments included with the cut & emboss sets! You can see them here!

10-1-08 Wow! I originally said how annoyed I was that the picture did not show up well! Daylight does wonders sometimes! New day, new photo! I am off to the shower.

Rock On!

I needed a quick card last night for a guitar player friend's 50th birthday. So I threw together this card using DCWV Rock Star paper, my Nestabilities double ended tag dies and some cool silver flat braided cord. The inside sentiment is "Rock On!"

New card -- WOW it has been 26 days!

Here is my newest card. The owl is cut out from paper in the Die Cuts With a View Fall Glitter Stack. He is so cute! I am thinking he should be bald and have a lollipop in his mouth! Happy fall!

Love this stamp set!

I procrastinated on buying Lisa Bearnson's Not Your Ordinary Foam Stamp Set when it first came out. I was trying to be "good" by not buying it! Thankfully, she made more and they are still available here! When I saw the half flower stamp this was the card I wanted to create and did!

Third post of the day!

I am entitled after all it is my birthday! We are attending a wedding this evening. I made a card that used the wedding invitation as a sketch. I have to say kudos to the bride's aunt who made the save the date card and a wonderful gatefold wedding invitation! The invitation is on the left and my card is on the right! I really liked how it turned out!

Second Shout Out to Sheetload of Cards

I couldn't resist creating a second card for the contest over at Sheetload of Cards. I love bright colors and flowers!

Shout Out to Sheetload!

I was excited when Sheetload of Cards said they were having a contest to win a Threading Water punch! I had been wanting to make a card with the three square sketch! Here is my card! I absolutely love this snowman!

Newest Cards

Here are my newest cards. I have been experimenting with some new techniques for me and just loving the creative juices flowing. I am the proud owner of a Wizard and a lot of the Nestabilities. I love them and I love that I can use the Cuttlebug embossing folders in my Wizard! Hope your day is especially blessed! PB

Finally!

My friend Denise over at Paper Ponderings has been "encouraging" me to create my own blog. I have finally done it! I have been inspired by reading blogs for about a year now. Hopefully, I can inspire someone else! I am just getting into stamping. Most of my cards are paper piecing.
